ICC Brazil to take part in the 8th Latin American Congress of Animal Nutrition

ICC Brazil will participate in the 8th Latin American Congress of Animal Nutrition (CLANA) 2018, which is promoted by the Brazilian College of Animal Nutrition (CBNA) and the Mexican Association of Animal Nutrition Specialists (AMENA). The event will take place from October 16 to 18 at Convention Center of Expo Dom Pedro, in Campinas, São Paulo.

The event will feature 40 technical lectures, given by highly reputable lecturers in Brazil and abroad. Such lectures are focused on food quality for the nutrition of poultry, swine, and cattle. Scientific papers and eight promotional lectures will also be presented. The congress brings together about 600 participants, including researchers, students, universities, companies, and producers of the food and animal nutrition industry in Latin America.

ICC Brazil will introduce the ImmunoWall® - yeast cell wall that focuses on improving intestinal integrity and the animal welfare; it is composed of beta-glucans, which modulate the immune system and strengthen it to fight against several diseases - and the RumenYeast® - composed of yeast and high concentrations of metabolites that stimulate the development of microorganisms responsible for fermenting and maintaining ruminal pH. RumenYeast also has β-glucans and MOS, which improves the immune system and intestinal integrity, enhancing animal weight and milk production.

Ricardo Barbalho, national sales manager of ICC Brazil, will represent the company in the CLANA 2018. He says it is important to take part in such events to obtain more technical knowledge. "Our main reason to participate in these events is to 'recycle' teams, make new clients and partners, and introduce new scientific research related to our products," says Barbalho. ICC Brazil will also be represented by Alexandre Silva (Internal Market Commercial Supervisor), William Brodbeck (Regional Sales Manager), Ricardo Toledo (LATAM Sales Manager), Melina Bonato (R&D Coordinator) and Liliana Borges (R&D Analyst).
