China Soymeal Weekly: Crushers cut output, limit price falls (week ended Oct 23, 2017)
A weakened global soy market exerted pressure on China's soymeal prices in conjunction with lacklustre animal feed sales, which plunged 21% on-week to 920,000 tonnes. Crushers cut production by over 6% to 1.5 million tonnes, hence helping to limit the price fall to 2.3%.
