US National Beef Packing seeks new partnership
National Beef Packing Co. is expecting normalcy in operations as it copes with the cessation of its contract with Walmart in the US.
National Beef Packing Co. was expecting a change in its relationship with Walmart and is seeking new relationships to fill the void of the lost contract. Darrell Moore, president of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Development Authority, said that National Beef has been working for several years to diversify its customer base, speaking with different grocers.
National Beef formerly produced case-ready beef, hamburger and pork for Walmart. The company is not expecting any cutbacks or slowdowns due to the lost contract.
