Lysine prices stay firm; Chinese buyers tread prudently
Lysine prices were stable to higher during the week ending October 22.
Concerns over short supplies of soymeal continued to lend support to the sales of lysine. However, as buyers were wary of the uncertain outlook of China's economy and the disease outbreak in the hog sector, cautious mood limited the price increments over the week.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine stayed at RMB5.10-5.20/kg.
