The ban on supplies of dairy products from Ukrainian dairy plant Dubnomoloko has been lifted by Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight.
This is according to a statement made by the service on Friday (Oct.19).
"Taking into account the guarantees of the Ukrainian veterinary service, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight considered it possible to abolish earlier restrictions that were introduced after E.coli bacteria were detected in the plant's cheese on Dubnomoloko's dairy product supplies to Russia," the Russian watchdog said.
The Russian service has introduced temporary restrictions on supplies of dairy products from nine Ukrainian plants, including Dubnomoloko, as the result of a sanitary inspection that did not satisfy the watchdog on October 4.
