CPF implements new warehouse system
Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) has invested in a new THB10-million (US$0.33-million) Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve its logistics and supply-chain management system and to bring down operation costs.
This investment is to increase its distribution efficiency, improve inventory accuracy and delivery time, said Praderm Chotsuparach, CPF Executive Vice President of Information Technology & Applications.
"By adopting the multi-store distribution centre in each region, the new software will enable CPF to centralise its warehouse, reduce the number of products and meet the demand of each food outlet," he added.
