Egypt's GASC Buys 415,000 MT Argentine, US Wheat FOB

Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities, or GASC, said Thursday it had bought 415,000 metric tons of Argentine and US wheat on an free on board basis in its tender. This follows an earlier report from traders that GASC had purchased a total of 420,000/tons.
 
A breakdown of the GASC tender results follows:

 -- two 60,000 ton cargoes of Argentine wheat at $119.66/ton FOB for Dec. 1-10
 
Cargill
 
  -- 60,000 tons of Argentine winter wheat at $119.75/ton FOB for Dec. 1-10
 
Louis Dreyfus
 
  -- 55,000 tons of Argentine wheat at $119.49/ton FOB for Nov. 20-30
 
United Harvest
 
  -- 60,000 tons of US soft white wheat at $145.00/ton FOB for Nov. 20-30
 
Glencore
 
  -- 60,000 tons of Argentine wheat at $118.97/ton FOB for Dec. 1-10
 
  -- 60,000 tons of Argentine wheat at $119.78/ton FOB for Dec. 1-10
