BIOMIN establishes new business unit in the UK
Leading Austria-based animal nutrition company BIOMIN has established new UK operations focused on meeting local feed and livestock needs with customer-specific technical expertise and the full suite of BIOMIN products.
The structure of the UK feed market called for a BIOMIN business unit in the UK, with a team to deliver scientific expertise and solutions tailored to the needs of the local market. Being closer to its customers in the UK would allow a more direct transfer of technical expertise and value-added services.
A dedicated technical sales team will also facilitate the development of a full product portfolio suited to the needs of the UK feed and livestock market.
The UK business unit will be headed by Neil Spreckley as chief operating officer.
"Personally, I am delighted to be heading the business, being able to call upon significant group technical resources from Austria and the rest of the global operation as and when required," stated Neil.
Apart from increasing its market presence in the UK, BIOMIN aims to be one of the leading feed additive companies in the UK within the next five years.
