Russia's Gref sees trading in grain on exchange to start in 2008

Grain and other foodstuffs could start trading on the Russian commodity exchange in 2008, expected Russia's economic development and trade minister German Gref.

However, nothing could be said about the exact launch date of trading as it would depend on when the government approved regulations on derivative securities, said the minister. He expected the government to do so next year.
