Russia's meat exports expected to rise past 1.5 million tonnes by 2030

 

 

 

The volume of Russia's exports of meat products may exceed 1.5 million tonne by 2030, according to preliminary calculations by the Federal Center Agroexport.

 

In monetary terms, meat exports are estimated at US$3.5 billion, according to Agroexport in its Telegram channel.

 

The prospects of Russian meat exports were discussed at the annual conference "Measures to improve the competitiveness of Russian exporters of agricultural products", organised by the Federal Center Agroexport and the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

 

According to expert estimates, in the first eight months of this year, Russia exported over 400 thousand tonnes of pork, mutton, goat, and poultry meat, which was 11% more than in the same period last year.
