Stable price trend for Philippines' broilers toward early October

The price trend of broilers in the Philippines has stabilized toward early October, following a slight increase of about ₱2/kg (US$0.03) and a steady rise over the preceding two weeks.
This price movement suggests a good balance between supply and demand, which may have begun to soften as October approached.
In the week ending September 19, broiler prices ranged between ₱100.00–₱123.00/kg (US$1.72-2.11), compared with ₱105.00–₱114.00/kg (US$1.80-1.96) in the previous week. The market continues to show upward momentum, driven by seasonal demand and tight supply.
