China Methionine Weekly: Low supply supports market despite flat demand (week ended Oct 15, 2018)
Methionine availability was tight after the holidays as imports were limited due to the high costs while export demand increased with renminbi weakening. Hence, even as post-festive poultry feed demand was flat, methionine market stayed firm in China.
