Japan Confirms 14th Case of Mad Cow Disease

A 48-month-old cow was confirmed Thursday to be infected with mad cow disease, making it the 14th case in Japan, the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Ministry said.
 

The cow, born in Hokkaido, had been under inspection after it died, the ministry said.
