USDA-FSIS alerts public of meat, poultry products potentially containing glass
The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has alerted the American public this month of ready-to-eat meat and poultry bowl products that could potentially contain foreign material, specifically glass.
As the products are no longer for sales, the FSIS did not issue a recall. The ready-to-eat meat and poultry items were produced by Taylor Farms in Dallas.
The products were shipped to retail locations in San Antonio and Houston. The problem was discovered when a Taylor Farms employee discovered pieces of glass in affected products during production.
