AB Vista has strengthened its international team with three new appointments in the Americas, reflecting the company's ambitious growth targets and increased demand for its products in both North and Latin America.
Dr. Tara York has been appointed Technical Services Manager and is responsible for providing sales and technical support to North American customers. After obtaining both a Masters and a PhD in Physiology from North Carolina State University, she joined Novus International where she spent 13 years as Manager of Product Development. During her time at Novus, Tara gained experience in several areas of animal nutrition, with a particular emphasis on amino acid, organic acid, mineral and early nutrition for poultry.
Dr. Peter Wilcock has taken on the role of Technical Manager, supporting AB Vista's customers in North America. Peter completed a PhD at Nottingham University in phytate phosphorus utilisation in broilers, after which he spent 13 years working for different companies within AB Agri, the parent company of AB Vista. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of animal nutrition from time spent in monogastric R&D, as a nutritionist in a leading compound feed business, and more recently from his worldwide experience on swine starter and nursery nutrition.
In Latin America, Jorge Rubio Arguello has been appointed as Technical Services Manager. Jorge will be managing Technical Services and providing technical support to customers in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He joins AB Vista from Agribands Purina Mexico S.A. DE C.V., where he was their Specialist in the Ruminants and Dairy Cattle sector. Jorge has 13 years of technical experience developing and implementing effective strategies to increase sales and boost market share. He has also lectured on animal nutrition and related subjects at a number of universities in Spain and Mexico.
All three appointments are effective immediately.
