Schering-Plough Animal Health names Kasha M. Cox Territory Manager, US Aquaculture

Schering-Plough Animal Health Corporation has appointed Kasha M. Cox as territory manager for US Aquaculture.

Cox is responsible for sales of AQUAFLOR® (florfenicol) Type A Medicated Article, a new-generation antibiotic premix expected to be licensed soon for use in channel catfish, as well as other aquaculture products in Schering-Plough Animal Health's R&D pipeline.

Cox has more than 20 years of experience in the US catfish industry, where she was owner and president of Aqua Health Laboratories, a fish health consulting firm, and co-founder of the catfish industry's leading aqua health distributor.  More recently, Cox worked as a fish health consultant for catfish farming operations and financial institutions in the Mississippi Delta.

Cox holds a B.S. degree in fisheries management from Mississippi State University, where she also served as adjunct research faculty member for the University's School of Veterinary Medicine.  She lives in Anguilla, Mississippi, with her husband, Ricky, and two daughters, Kristen and Nicole.  Cox may be reached at 662-907-0692 and at kasha.cox@spcorp.com.
