No ban of meat and dairy exports from Belarus to Russia
The Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry said there is no ban of meat and dairy shipments to Russia, following rumours of a suspension of those exports to the neighbouring country, the Belarusian Telegraph Agency reported.
The ministry said Belarus is a trustworthy business partner, adding that it is not possible to forbid or only partially halt the supply of meat and dairy products to the Russian Federation.
Currently, 30 poultry farms and 37 large meat and dairy producers—or 88% of the total—are available to supply Russia with food.
Following the invasion of Ukraine, Western sanctions have targeted Russia's trade, companies, individuals and financial sector.
