Vietnam's feed, raw material imports fell by 16.8% year-on-year in July 2024
Vietnam's imports of animal feed and raw materials in July 2024 decreased by 16.8% compared to the previous month and was down by 31.6% compared to July 2023, reaching US$352.52 million, according to preliminary statistics from the country's General Department of Customs.
In the first seven months of 2024, imports of these goods reached over US$2.91 billion, an increase of 2.2% compared to 2023.
The largest imports of animal feed and raw materials came from the Argentine market, accounting for 28.4% of the total import turnover of this group of goods nationwide, reaching nearly US$827.06 million.
The second largest market is the United States, accounting for 22.4% and reaching US$652.23 million. The Brazilian market follows, accounting for 13.9% of the total turnover, reaching nearly US$404.27 million.
