Germany confirms six more African swine fever cases
Germany's Federal Agriculture Ministry confirmed a further six African swine fever (ASF) cases among wild boars in Brandenburg state, east Germany, Reuters reported.
This brings the total ASF cases in the country to 46 since the first case was reported on September 10. All cases but one were found in one area in Brandenburg state, with the sole exception discovered 60 km away from the current cases.
Germany's ASF cases have only been discovered among dead wild boar. No farm livestock are affected.
