Mengniu's subsidiary-Fuyuan Livestock builds RMB60 million dairy farm, Inner Mongolia   

 
Fuyuan Livestock, Mengniu's wholly-own subsidiary, has invested RMB60 million to build a 2000-head dairy farm in Ulanhot Ranch, Inner Mongolia. The construction is expected to complete by end-2012. The Ulanhot Ranch project is a strategic move by Mengniu to create, manage and ensure its quality supply of milk source.

   
 

Beijing Grain Group, Sinograin's RMB1.5 billion Tianjin oil refinery starts operation

 
A RMB1.5 billion oil refinery by Beijing Grain Group (BGG) and China Grain Reserves Corporation (Sinograin) has recently went into operations at Tianjin Lingang Industrial Zone. It is expected to turnover more than RMB5 billion yearly.

This oil processing facility houses processing, warehousing and logistics under one roof. With the start of its operations, it will process 1.2 million tonnes of soy, refines 420,000 tonnes of crude oil, with an annual bottling capacity of 420,000 tonnes. In addition, it has the capacity to store 350,000 tonnes of oil and oilseeds.

Hebei completes construction of RMB50 million beef cattle farm 

 
Hebei's RMB50 million beef cattle farm in Linzhang has completed its farm facilities last month. The soon-to-operate facility has an annual capacity of 10,000-head cattle and is able to accommodate 25 barns of 3,000 beef cattle, a silage pool, a dry feed store and other amenities to form a complete feed to slaughter production operations.

Jiangxi Zhengbang invests RMB1.5 billion in integrated hog chain, Shanxi

   
Jiangxi Zhengbang Group has invested RMB1.5 billion to build an integrated 50-000 hog chain in Lingchuan, Shanxi.
     
The project expects to complete within three to four years which includes: a pure breeder hog farm with an annual production of 50,000-head, a number of vertically integrated commercial hog fattening farms, a feed factory with an annual production of 300,000 tonnes, a slaughter processing line which could slaughter and process 1-2 million hogs and a meat product processing industrial park.

Guangxi's 5,000-tonne high-protein feed processing and logistics facility starts operations 

     
Guangxi Bohai Agricultural Development Co. Ltd. has started its operations of high protein feed processing and logistics facility last month at Guangxi Tieshan Harbor (Linhai) Industrial Zone, with a daily output of 5,000 tonnes.

The first-phase of the project costs RMB1.1 billion which has an annual production capacity of 1.55 million tonnes of protein feed and 380,000 tonnes of edible oil. The annual sales is expected to reach RMB7 billion.

New Hope Liuhe invests RMB860 million in broiler processing base, Shaanxi

      
New Hope Liuhe Co. Ltd. is building a RMB860 million broiler processing base in Shaanxi which will include: a 300,000-tonne feed processing plant, a broiler processing and slaughtering facility with an annual capacity of 36 million, a 450,000 breeder chicken breeding and hatching farm, and two million commercial broiler breeding demonstration area. The project will be constructed in two phases and is expected to start operations in July 2015.
