China Live Hog Weekly: Prices slid on slack demand as slaughterhouses halt operation (week ended Sep 30, 2017)
Slaughterhouses halted operation gradually inn preparation for the Mid-Autumn Festival, resulting slack demand for hog. With release volumes stable, prices of hog slid 1.4% on average. Over the past three weeks, hog prices have dropped 3% in China.
