US production of corn for feed use in July this year mostly down from volumes in July 2023

The US Department of Agriculture recently released its Grain Crushings and Co-Products Production report for September.

According to the report, US corn gluten feed production reached 293,887 tonnes in July 2024, up from 60,015 tonnes in June and 277,997 tonnes in July of last year.

Corn gluten meal production in the month was at 118,626 tonnes, up from 113,544 tonnes in June, but down from 119,450 tonnes in July 2023.

Wet corn gluten feed production was at 210,013 tonnes, up from 197,547 tonnes in June, but down from 224,484 tonnes in July of last year.
