Feed Demand Pushes Up Danish Milling Wheat Price

Danish milling wheat prices continued its climb up from several weeks, as shortage of feed grain pushed prices higher, while Danish malting barley gained Russian interest, traders said.

"The lack of maize is still pushing feed prices higher and the higher quality stuff follows with it since there has to be a premium for it," one trader said.

Fob milling wheat with first-half October small-port delivery traded at 131 euros ($153.4) per tonne, slightly up from last week's 130 euros. Bread wheat delivered at larger ports was valued at around 137 euros.
