Tight supply, high costs lift China lysine prices
 
 
Lysine prices remained strong during the week ending September 30.

The availability of lysine was tight as several producers limited output. With pre-festive demand firm and the costs of raw ingredients high, prices of lysine rose considerably over the week.

For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted were higher in the range of RMB10.20-10.90/kg.
