Ukraine's CREATIVE to commission soy processing in early 2008

CREATIVE, part of the Ukrainian CREATIVE INDUSTRIAL GROUP, and the Russian PROTEIN PRODUCTION are considering finishing the construction of soy processing factory in the first quarter of 2008.

The companies will hold 51 percent and 49 percent, respectively, in the new factory. Rockwool Ukraine supplies building materials for the construction project worth US$25 million. The enterprise has a projected capacity of 100,000 tonnes of soy annually. The enterprise will produce a full range of processed products, including soy oil and meal, soy flour and concentrate.
