Hotraco presents new poultry controller

Netherlands-based Hotraco recently introduced Antares, the company's newest 7" compact farm controller for poultry production.

With its broad package of functionalities, remote control, extensive connectivity and big data features, Antares represents a strong foundation for the future of farm management, automating and optimising crucial farm processes, Hotraco said.

The application's 7" screen and intuitive ease of use enable farmers to rely more on data-driven farm automation. This in turn helps to minimise costs while achieving best performance out of an animal's genetic potential.

Antares' smart automation covers all barn processes, including ventilation, climate control, feeding and watering, animal and silo weighing, and lighting.

Given the features available, the application can enhance farm performance and profitability with real-time data, and support energy savings through optimised ventilation processes, according to Hotraco. Anatares can also accommodate an animal's various needs by maintaining ideal growth conditions through 24/7 automatic adjustments.

Additionally, the application can communicate effortlessly with mobile devices running on iOS and Android. It can also sync to the PC Farm Management software.
