Pre-holiday buying perks up China methionine prices
Prices of methionine moved higher during the week ending September 24.
Feed millers continued to stock methionine inventories in preparation for the long October holidays, albeit prudently.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine rose to the range of RMB18-18.20/kg.
Methionine sales are expected to slow after feed producers have accumulated ample stocks.
