Belarus bans poultry from Guangdong, China, due to bird flu
 

 

Belarus initiates a temporary ban on poultry imports from Guangdong, China, after a case of avian flu is reported in the Chinese province.

 

The Belarusian authorities banned deliveries of live poultry, eggs, fluff and feathers, poultry meat and poultry-based products such as feeds, as well as used equipment for keeping and slaughtering poultry from Guangdong, according to the agriculture ministry. The authorities simultaneously revoked all permits for the import of the goods from the Chinese province.
