China's Ningxia Yiping Bio-Technology Co to Commence Lysine Production in Early October

The first phase of China's Ningxia Yiping Bio-Technology Company's lysine project is reportedly due to commence production in early October. The annual production capacity of this phase of the project is 25,000 metric tons.

Ningxia Yiping Bio-Technology Company is a subsidiary of privately owned Ningxia Yiping Food Group in China. The group's businesses extend from the production of cornstarch, glutamic acid, lysine and monosodium glutamate, feed processing to property development.

With total assets valued at RMB220 million, the group is capable of producing up to 20,000 tons of glutamic acid, 50,000 tons of lysine, 24,000 tons of monosodium glutamate, 120,000 tons of cornstarch and its by-products every year.
