Russia's July-August wheat exports down 11 percent on-year
Russia's wheat export in the July-August period, the first two months of the current marketing year, was 1.86 million tonnes, down 11 percent from the 2.09 million tonnes in the corresponding period in the previous marketing year, according to the state customs authority.
The largest importer of Russian wheat in July-August was Egypt with 582,000 tonnes, with large amounts also going to Azerbaijan, Bangladesh and India.
