Russia to allow more meat, dairy imports from Poland

Russia's veterinary regulator may allow more meat and dairy imports from Poland as it plans to inspect 26 Polish meat processors and seven dairy plants today (September 21).

Agnieszka Maliszewska, director of the Polish Milk Chamber, said ff no violations are found, Russia will grant relevant certificates to Polish companies to supply their products.

The inspections are slated to be completed on October 3, Maliszewska said.

At present, 61 Polish companies, including nine meat processing plants and 24 dairy plants, have certificates to supply their products to Russia.
