Ukraine to increase meat output by 13.4 percent
The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has predicted a rise in all types of livestock sector products in 2010, including milk, output of which has been falling in the country for many years.
Meat will increase by 13.4 percent to three million tonnes liveweight and 2.165 tonnes in slaughterweight.
Milk output will increase by 0.8 percent to 11.75 million tonnes next year, compared to 11.65 million tonnes this year, while the figures for egg output will be 15.7 billion and 15.5 billion respectively.
