South Korea's KFA buys 117,500 tonnes soymeal from Cargill, Bunge
South Korea's Korea Feed Association (KFA) bought 117,500 tonnes of soymeal in a tender concluded Tuesday, an official with the association said.
KFA bought two cargos of Indian-origin soymeal from Cargill at US$234.73/tonne. The cargos of 20,000 tonnes each will be delivered on Jan 15 and Feb 10, 2007
KFA also bought another 25,000-tonne cargo of Indian-origin soymeal from Bunge Ltd at US$235.87/tonne, for delivery Feb 25, 2007.
A fourth cargo of 52,500 tonnes of U.S-origin soymeal was bought from Cargill at US$263.22/tonne for delivery on Jan 20, 2007.
KFA did not buy any feed barley or corn in Tuesday's tender, the official said.
