Hamlet Protein receives Japanese delegation in Denmark

 

Hamlet Protein recently hosted a group of Japanese industry professionals on a week-long visit to Denmark.

The group had toured leading Danish companies to learn about the Danish pig industry and how they deal with current and future challenges.

Japan is one of the top-10 pork producing countries in the world and Hamlet Protein has long standing business relations with swine producers in the country. Next to strong production volumes, Japan is also an important importer of pork.

The delegation was interested in the Danish approach to animal welfare, biosecurity, farm management and genetics, according to Hamlet Protein. The company's team focused on the importance of young animal nutrition to drive performance throughout the lifecycle.
