South Korea Feed Association Buys 20,000 Tons India Soymeal

The Korea Feed Association has agreed to buy 20,000 metric tons of Indian soymeal in a tender Friday, said a KFA official.

 

India's Bunge will supply soymeal at US$223.50 a ton, including cost and freight, said the official.

   

Shipment dates are for Nov. 16 to Dec. 5, with expected arrival on Dec. 20 Incheon.

   

Earlier this month, South Korea's Big Feed Mills Group was reported to have bought 25,500 tons of Indian soymeal from Peter Cremer via private negotiations. The soymeal, with shipment dates Oct. 22 to Nov. 10, was purchased at US$225 a ton, C&F to Kunsan and Ulsan, premium charge for delivery inclusive.
