Dairy product prices fall at the CME
Philadelphia, PA–At the CME, cheese, butter, and nonfat dry milk prices gave up ground this week. Our conversations turned to the farm-level. We picked up new rumors about milk price premium reductions for farmers in the Midwest and the implementation of a new two-tier pricing system in the southeast to more equitably share balancing costs. Several farmers lamented to us this week. There hasn’t been much fun at this milk prices.
