Bulgaria's Karo Trading to construct US$1.5 million fish farm
Karo Trading, a Bulgarian construction company, will build a BGN2.2 million (US$1.5 million) fish farm near the north western city of Montana.
Some BGN1.35 million (US$905,000) from the total investment will be secured under the EU-funded operational programme Fisheries, the country's fisheries and aquaculture executive agency said on Monday (Sep 17) in a press release.
The fish farm, which is due to be completed within eight months, will produce common, bighead and grass carp.
