Minh Phu Seafood Corp earns US$131.11 million in export revenues

Vietnam's major shrimp exporter, Minh Phu Seafood Corporation (MPC), has posted US$131.11 million in outbound shipments from January to August 2010.

In the first eight months of the year, MPC has exported over 12.63 tonnes of shrimp, the firm said.

US remained the biggest importer of MPC, with revenues of US$60.79 million between January and August, followed by Japan with US$18.07 million, Canada with US$12.01 million and Australia with US$995,700.

In 2010, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange-listed firm targets export revenues of US$200 million from selling 21,400 tonnes of shrimp, and net profit of VND343.425billion (US$17.63 million) on net revenues of VND3.9 trillion (US$200.21 million).
