Iran to Postpone Soybean Oil Tender

The Iranian state-run Government Trading Corporation of Iran (GTC) said it had postponed a tender to buy 15,000 tons of soybean oil as it lay hopes on clinching better prices in the coming days.

GTC said in a statement that the cargo was on an FOB basis for October 15-November 15 shipment. The tender had been issued on Monday.

GTC normally tenders for commodities on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Last week, GTC said it had purchased 15,000 tons of soybean oil of Brazilian origin at $478 per tonne for October 10-November 10 shipment.
