Egypt cuts wheat seeds prices by 50 percent
Egypt's agriculture minister decided to cut the price of wheat seeds by 50 percent in a bid to encourage farmers to cultivate wheat, reports Egyptian daily Al-Masry Al-Youm Monday (Sept 14).
Prices of wheat seeds were cut from 160 Egyptian pounds (US$29) per 30 kilogrammes to EGP85, the paper reports.
