Aviagen appoints technical services managers for Middle East and Africa business
Poultry breeding company, Aviagen, has appointed André Costa and Mo'een Alkhatib as technical services managers of its business in the Middle East and Africa.
Both individuals will be responsible for supporting Aviagen's distributors and customers.
"André and Mo'een will spend a period of time learning about Aviagen's core business and values before working with our customers. Creating and maintaining close working relationships with our customers is paramount to their development and both André and Mo'een have excellent strengths in this area," said business manager, Michael Garden.
Costa holds a Masters degree in veterinary medicine and has completed post-graduate studies in management and marketing. He also had experiences in technical roles within the animal nutrition sector in Portugal.
Alkhatib holds a Bachelor of Science in animal production and has recently been working as a farms manager at Aviagen's New Zealand unit. He had past poultry management experiences in Jordan.
