Ukraine's corn output at 1.1 million tonnes

Ukrainian agrarians already produced 1.1 million tonnes of corn as of September 11, 2012.

According to Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, as of the reporting date agrarians harvested corn throughout the areas of 316,000 hectares, or 7% of the plan.

Besides, the Head Ministry of Agrarian Policy noted that as of the reporting date Ukraine planted winter rapeseed throughout 858,000 hectares (91% of the plan), winter grains and leguminous crops - 495,000 hectares.
