Indonesian aquatech startup Delos secures funding to drive shrimp export ambitions
Delos, an aquatech start-up based in Indonesia, has successfully concluded a series A funding round, bolstering its mission to establish Indonesia as the world's premier shrimp exporter, Clayton County Register reported.
The Indonesian aquatech firm is on a mission to harness the vast potential of Indonesia's shrimp export industry by leveraging innovative technology for sustainable growth. With the infusion of fresh funding, Delos intends to advance its aquaculture system, which incorporates state-of-the-art monitoring and control technologies to optimise shrimp farming operations.
Delos' aquaculture system offers real-time data on critical factors such as water quality, temperature, and feed management. This comprehensive monitoring empowers shrimp farmers to make informed decisions, ensuring the ideal conditions for their shrimp stock's growth. By enhancing farming practices and minimising risks, Delos aspires to elevate both the quantity and quality of Indonesia's shrimp exports.
The series A funding round will also facilitate Delos in expanding its production capacity and investing in research and development to continually enhance its technological capabilities. The company plans to bolster its market presence through increased collaboration with local shrimp farmers and industry stakeholders.
