Russia's Rusagro seeks to deliver up to 10,000 tonnes of pork to China this year
Rusagro Group, one of Russia's largest agricultural holdings, plans to supply up to 10,000 tonnes of pork to China in 2024, while also expects to start exporting Russian compound feed to China.
The plan was revealed by Alexander Tarasov, deputy general director and head of the company's Corporate Development Directorate, during a meeting with investors.
The share of the company's revenue from pork supplies to China this year is estimated at 10%. In the medium term, the target share in the revenue of the export potential of the company's meat business to China and Southeast Asian countries is estimated at 30%.
