China VA: Slack demand weighs on prices (week ended Sep 5, 2022)

Slack demand weighed down the prices of vitamin A.
In the local market, the transaction prices of VA500 stayed in the range of RMB106-116/kg. VA1000 prices fell to RMB217/kg.
Export prices of VA500 stayed at US$15.70/kg while those of VA1000 decreased to US32/kg.
With prices 60% lower on0year, producers will attempt to hold up the prices of vitamin A.
