Russia overturns Sanderson Farms poultry ban
Russia has overturned a ban imposed on poultry imports from a Sanderson Farms poultry plant, according to the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The Laurel, Mississippi-based plant was one of the three US meat plants Russia delisted in July due to claims of detection of excessive antibiotics in the products.
Products produced at the plant prior to July 8 and on or after September 2 are now eligible for export to Russia.
