Improper disposal of livestock waste disastrous to farm and environment, says Kohshin

Due to erratic weather conditions caused by global warming and continuous innovations in advanced technology equipment, many farmers are shifting from traditional cages to fully automatic systems or battery cages. However, such a move brings its own challenge of the farmers having to manage wet manure daily, says Kohshin.

For proper waste treatment, Kohshin has the solution through an effective method of composting. The company has various models of dryer and composting machines which are designed to handle a wide range in quantity of wastes.

Through continuous innovation, Kohshin has developed additional component systems such as pre-composter, scrubber, aerator and Compo-master (used for data monitoring by sensors for the pre-composting process).

During the composting process run in Kohshin systems, beneficial microorganisms such as mesophilic and thermophilic bacteria will generate heat, and release enzymes which are beneficial to plants. The final product will be dry, odourless, pathogen-free, pelletised and uniformly sized, harmless to plants, and easy to handle and apply. In short, the product will be safer to use and of higher commercial value compared to unprocessed or partially-composted products.
