Zinpro appoints monogastrics country manager for UK, Ireland and Scandinavia

Zinpro Corporation has recently appointed Francisco Dias as country manager of monogastrics for the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Dias will be responsible for leading the company's strategic direction for monogastric species, with an emphasis on poultry and sustainable production in these regions.

He brings to the position more than ten years of poultry and feed industry experience. He was most recently employed by a multinational feed additive company as a global customer technical service manager. His previous roles also include corporate poultry product marketing manager for a veterinary pharmaceutical company, and poultry health manager and vet consultant for a Brazilian food company.

"Francisco has extensive animal production, veterinary and feed nutrition experience that will help to boost animal performance, sustainability and profitability for our customers," said Tim Horne, Zinpro's regional business enterprise manager for Europe and South Africa. "In addition to his feed and nutrition expertise, Francisco will be able to help customers identify improvements in ventilation, humidity, temperature, water, lighting, hygiene, health and biosecurity programmes to increase animal wellness for improved production."

Based in the UK, Dias earned his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FAMED) in São Paulo, Brazil, and holds three post-graduate diplomas in poultry science and marketing from educational institutions in the UK and Brazil.

Dias has also authored or co-authored several peer-reviewed research publications and other scientific publications in addition to speaking at various poultry science forums and conferences.
