China methionine prices rise 7% in two weeks
Prices of methionine increased further during the week ending September 5.
Prices of methionine climbed for the consecutive second week as a result, gaining 7.3% during over the past fortnight.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine rose to the range of RMB23-23.50/kg, up by RMB0.50-1.50/kg.
Methionine supplies are expected to stay tight with domestic production decreased and imports limited.
