ANH’s new facility, spanning 11,200 square metres, incorporates a manufacturing line for mycotoxin risk management solutions and a new warehouse. The new site utilises advanced Buhler technology while adhering to the highest international standards for quality, safety, and the environment. Additionally, it is situated next to ANH's Jadcherla premix plant, creating a cohesive "Super Site" that enhances efficiency.

 

ANH’s new site will manufacture Mycofix Secure and Mycofix Shield products. It aims to support Indian farmers and feed manufacturers to address the growing mycotoxin issues caused by climate change and poor harvesting practices. Additionally, it will help safeguard animal health and food safety by neutralising various mycotoxins found in animal feed.

 

The new site is the company’s first feed additive plant in India and aligns with the government’s "Make in India" initiative. Additionally, it strengthens ANH’s position and growth strategy in India and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

 

Lu Yuan, vice president of Greater APAC at Animal Nutrition & Health DSM-Firmenich, called the new plant a 'strategic milestone’ for ANH in the region.

The Jadcherla feed additive plant adds to the company’s growing presence in India. Last week, it reportedly announced investments worth  US$82 million (€70m) in the country. These investments included an expanded seasoning plant in Kerala and a new greenfield site in Gujarat.
